This is the NextWave Broadcasting Network privacy policy. It covers NextWave Tested and the forms on this site.
Effective / Last Updated: September 18, 2026. NextWave Tested details added October 21, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how NextWave Broadcasting Network collects, uses, discloses and protects information when you visit our websites, listen to our stations, contact us, submit music or products, request business services, make a payment or otherwise interact with NextWave.
This Privacy Policy applies to NextWave Broadcasting Network websites and digital properties that link to this policy, including NextWaveBroadcasting.com, NextWave Tested (tested.nextwavebroadcasting.com) and the websites associated with New Wave Radio, Yacht Rock Radio, Rock ’n’ Roll Radio, The Alternative One! and Wild Country Radio, as well as other NextWave-controlled pages or services that expressly reference this policy.
In this policy, “NextWave,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to NextWave Broadcasting Network and its applicable station brands and network-operated digital properties.
This policy covers information collected through our websites, contact forms, advertising inquiries, artist submissions, product-review submissions, NextWave Tested votes, test requests and verdict predictions, Private Corporate Radio inquiries, payments, website analytics and other direct interactions with NextWave.
The information we collect depends on how you interact with NextWave. You may browse some areas without directly identifying yourself, while other services require you to provide information.
When you submit a form, upload a file, make a payment, request information, participate in a promotion or communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to provide for that interaction.
Our websites, hosting environment, analytics tools, security systems, streaming systems and other technology providers may automatically generate or collect technical information when you access or use our digital properties.
Depending on the interaction, NextWave may use information to:
NextWave operates several specialized form workflows. Information submitted through those forms may be used for the specific purpose shown on the form and for reasonable administration of that request.
These may collect your name, email address, optional telephone number, reason for contact, selected station, subject and message.
Advertising forms may collect business contact information, company details, campaign objectives, budget ranges, target audiences, timing and information needed to discuss media opportunities.
Artist applications may collect contact information, artist identity, music files, biographies, artwork, social-media links, live-performance information, rights and ownership certifications, electronic signatures, label information and other materials needed for programming review and administration.
Product-review workflows may collect brand/manufacturer information, product descriptions, press materials, media contacts, launch or embargo information, review-unit or press-fleet details and logistics needed to evaluate a potential review.
The NextWave Tested forms for Pick the Bike, the Rider Gear Vote, Request a Test and Predict the Verdict may collect your name, email address, the product, brand or model you choose, your reason, your favorite NextWave station, your country and which NextWave site sent you. We use this to count votes (one vote per email per brand), decide which products to test and, only if you tick the box on the form, send the one update email that box describes.
Vote, request and prediction totals may be published as counts. Your name and email address are not published. If you include a quote in your reason, we will ask your permission before using it on air or on the site.
Corporate-radio forms may collect organization details, employee or location counts, workplace type, programming preferences, content restrictions, technical information, desired services, timing and budget information.
If you upload audio, images, documents or other files, those files may contain metadata or other information. Only upload materials that you are authorized to provide and that are necessary for the requested service.
Certain NextWave transactions may use Stripe or another identified payment processor. When you follow a Stripe payment link or use a Stripe-powered checkout, payment information is provided to and processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms and privacy practices.

NextWave may receive transaction-related information from Stripe, such as contact or billing details, payment status, transaction identifiers, amounts and other information needed to administer the transaction, maintain records, provide the requested service or handle refunds or disputes where applicable.

NextWave uses Google Analytics and/or Google tagging technology on its website. Depending on NextWave’s configuration and your privacy choices, Google Analytics may collect information such as browser and device information, session statistics, approximate location, website activity and a pseudonymous client identifier stored in a first-party cookie.

Most browsers allow you to block, delete or limit cookies. Doing so may affect certain website functions. Where a consent-management tool is provided, you may also be able to make choices through that interface.
Google provides additional information and tools for controlling Analytics and advertising-related settings through its own privacy and account controls.
Some NextWave features may be designed for public participation, such as song dedications, shout-outs, listener requests, comments, artist features or other community submissions.
If a feature clearly asks you to submit information for public display or broadcast, the name, message, dedication, artist information, social handle or other content you provide may be published on a website, displayed in a station interface, read or played on-air, or otherwise shared as part of the feature.
